Sketchbook Page: Octopus

This is a page from my sketchbook for my college art class, Introduction to Studio Practice. I'm actually pretty proud of how it came out. I have drawn octopus...octopi...octopuses...whatever in a looooong time. Seriously these are the first *insert the plural form of octopus here* I've drawn since 1999.

Anywho, I drew most of these in pencil. I went over some with and ink pen then watercolor. The one in the top right corner was done just in pen which meant no erasing *gasp!*
It actually wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.

In case you're wondering these aren't just random octopus drawings. They're practice for the silverpoint project I mentioned in my journal.
